Can increasing young-adults’ physical fitness improve their ‘mental fitness’? by Bobby Cappuccio

With the growing rate of childhood obesity its obvious that daily physical activity is essential for the wellbeing of our youth. However, before schools eliminate daily activity from the budget as a “non-essential” perhaps they should consider the effect movement has on cognitive function. I would assume that cognition is in fact related to learning?
